Question 1: What do 1080P and 1080i respectively stand for? Which is better?
Answers: simply speaking, 1080P means to scan 1080 lines of line-by-line; while1080i is to scan 1080 lines interlacing. Since one of the digital television's criteria is to have 1080 lines, 1080P and 1080i are both digital television's characteristics, and the 1080P one displays better pictures than the 1080i one.
Question 2: Compared with the plasma TV and back projection TV, what merits does the LCD have as well as the shortcomings?
Answers: All these three types of TV are different in the imaging principle, following is a form shows the differences:

Question 3: Does the LCD TV have the radiation or not?
Answers: The radiation mainly radiates from the display panel, so it’s acknowledged that LCD panel is nearly zero radiation. But the CRT forms pictures when the particle beam hits on the screen, generating much radiation.
Question 4: What should we do for the maintenance?
Answers: The most important is to protect the screen area, which means using dry cloth without any alcohol or
Ammonia instead of wet one to clean the screen, as we are told in our product manual. The other parts can be wiped off with little
    Technical questions:
Question 1: what is the HDMI connection?
Answers: HDMI (High Definiton Multimedia Interface) is developed based on DVI(Digital Visual Interface), both can be compatible. HDMI can transmit the high resolution videos uncompressed and the multi-sound track voice data in digital form, with the highest data transmission speed 5Gbps. HDMI can support all ATSC and HDTV standards, satisfying the 1080p resolution, supporting the transmission of DVD Audio which is the most advanced digital audio frequency form, the eight sound track 96kHz , or the stereo sound 192kHz digital audio. Moreover, you need only a HDMI line to connect, much easier and more convenient for family entertainment system that usually needs lots of wires to connect.
Question 2: what is YPbPr and YCbCr?
Answers: YPbPr and YCbCr are both the video chromatic aberration input connection. The former stands for line-by-line scanning chromatic aberration output, and the latter means interlacing chromatic aberration output. As transmitting the brightness signal and the chromatic aberration signal separately, it reduces at maximum the length of signal access between the video frequency source and the image formation area, and consequently avoids the image distortion arises from frequent transmission process, enhances the image definition. Therefore the chromatic aberration output's connection way is the best one so far.
Till now all the LCD TVs provided by our company can support YPbPr and the YCbCr input.
Question 3:what is the 720P/1080i signal?
Answers: P(progress) stands for line-by-line scanning, I (interlace) means interlacing scanning. When a TV supports 720P, it means that the line-by-line signal of 720 scanning lines can be supported..
Below are some common signal formats:
720P: The D4 standard digital television display mode, 60hz frequency, 750 vertical scanning lines, 720 visible vertical scanning lines, aspect ratio:16:9, recorded as 720p or 750p. Actual image resolution 1280 X 720.
480I: 480i is the standard NTSC television display mode,60hz frequency, 525 vertical scanning lines, 483 visible vertical scanning lines, aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, recorded as 480i or 525i.
480P: Refers to the actual image area, also called 525P, in the television domain it means NTSC system EDTV; The corresponding computer display format is VGA. 640 X 480p (60Hz) is briefly called 480p.
576I:The standard PAL television display mode, with 50hz frequency, 625 vertical scanning lines, 576 visible vertical scanning lines, aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, recorded as 576i or 625i.
1080I:The D3 standard digital television display mode, with 60hz frequency, 1125 vertical scanning lines, 1080 visible vertical scanning lines, aspect ratio16:9, recorded as 1080i or 1125i. Actual image resolution is 1920 X 1080I.
1080P: The D5 standard digital television display mode. Actual image resolution 1920 X1080P.
Question 4: what is the VGA input connection?
Answers: used to connect the computer and monitor. It takes the asymmetrical distribution 15pin connection mode. How it works: The image signals in the vedio memory saved in digital format are analog modulated into analogue high frequency signals within RAMDAC, and then outputs to the plasma imaging. In this case, VGA signals in the input end (in the LED display monitor) do not need to undergo the matrix demoding circuit's conversion like other video signals. We can conclude form above that the transmission process of VGA is the shortest one, which enable it to be outstanding.
Question 5: what is the DVI input connection?
Answers: the DVI connection mainly used in connecting with the video card that has digital display output function, to display the RGB signals. DVI (Digital Visual Interface) was established by Digital Display Working Group (DDWG) in September, 1998. The DVI
digital terminal is better then the standard VGA post signal, for the digital interface has guaranteed that all the content be transmitted in digital format, as well as the data integrity during the transmission from host to monitor.
